Jonathan loves travel, photography and the occasional camel race. Luckily, his current career as an international tour leader has helped in facilitating all of these interests. A varied life that has allowed him to live in Scotland, Australia, Uzbekistan, and several cities in Canada has allowed for, at least what he hopes to be, an international perspective on politics, economics and global goings-on. His true passions are photography (of which, you will find many examples within these pages) and to roam around the world (an obligatory nod of the head to the B-52's).
Jonathan’s background includes managing backpacker hostels in Scotland for five years, an MBA from the University of British Columbia, 15+ years in leading small-group tours to far-flung destinations around the globe, and writing about himself in the third person.

Oh Squiggly Line...
Alright... this line from the Family Guy is EXACTLY how the whole "owilybug" thing got started way back when. Imagine "o wily bug..." and take it from there. Maybe I'll feel inspired some day and complete the stanza.
Oh squiggly line
Oh squiggly line, in my eye fluid. I see you there, lurking on the periphery of my vision. But when I try to look at you, you scurry away. Are you shy, squiggly line? Why only when I ignore you, do you return to the centre of my eye? Oh squiggly line, it's alright, you are forgiven.

In Havana
Apparently I like to pose in front of jaunty Cuban propaganda.
Big 'ol Becherovka
The more medicine the better, right?
Starfish
I'm pretty sure this is a metaphor for something. Suggestions accepted.
